Princeton Dog Training Club offers variety of classes for you and your dog taught in a positive reinforcement based framework.
Agility
PDTC offers Agility training classes for Beginners through Masters in a private indoor arena.
As students gain experience and expertise, they are able to move up our class levels. We offer a variety of instructors and classes six days a week and our program is structured to expose students to all of our instructors for a well-rounded learning experience.
The PDTC Agility program will progress you and your dog through seven classes: TBD. In addition, we also offer Specialty Classes that focus on specific skills as well as seminars and workshops.
Private and Semi Private Classes may be arranged with our instructors for those seeking or needing individual attention.
We recommend that all puppies/dogs just starting in agility attend at least one group obedience and puppies be at least 6months of age.
All classes at PDTC are taught with positive, motivational methods. They are intended to be fun for both the dog and the owner.

We recommend all puppies start in AKC STAR puppy class. This class provides the building blocks for good companions as well as competition-oriented basics.
All classes are taught with highly motivational methods chosen to make learning fun, effective, and safe for the dog and owner.
As students gain experience and expertise, they can move into advanced companion dog classes, then competition Obedience and Rally classes.

Nosework
K9 Nose Work is a unique activity and sport inspired by working detection dogs and developed into an enriching and bonding activity for you and your companion dog. This is a fun scenting activity and sport for all dogs and people. It is easy to learn, builds confidence and is a safe way to keep dogs fit and healthy through mental and physical exercise.
K9 Nose Work starts with the ‘box game’, using your dog's favorite food or toys to encourage your dog to begin searching boxes. The box game develops the dogs’ hunt drive and desire to search. The game then expands to searching entire rooms, exterior areas, and vehicles. Essential oils are introduced as 'target odors' as your dog progresses.
There are no requirements to begin K9NW— dogs of any age with no obedience experience can start training. Within the group class structure, dogs work individually (dogs rest in their crates between runs) so dogs with fears are welcome.
We recommend all puppies start in AKC S.T.A.R. puppy class. This class provides the building blocks for good companions as well as competition, oriented basics.
All classes at PDTC are taught with positive, motivational methods. They are intended to be fun for both the dog and the owner.
