Agility Training
Teaching dogs to perform obstacles correctly, and handlers to use clear motion and signals to navigate a course. All training uses positive reinforcement to build connected, well-bonded teams.
Our program is structured to expose students to all of our instructors for a well-rounded learning experience.
⚠ Before you register
Agility requires prior obedience training. Entry classes need AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, Beginner Obedience, or instructor permission. Dogs must work calmly around other dogs and people, and work off-leash from Beginner I onward.

Learning agility from the ground up. Start here if your dog is new to the sport.
Introduces young dogs to agility through fun games, exercises, and low-height obstacles. Teams build confidence and explore tables, tunnels, planks, and the A-frame while working at an age-appropriate level.
For dogs new to agility. Covers flatwork, targets, impulse control, body awareness, forward focus, low contact equipment, tunnels, weave poles, and age-appropriate jump training. The emphasis is on training rather than handling techniques.
Begins proficiency and independence on contact equipment. Expands flatwork into two- to four-obstacle sequences and introduces side changes, weave-pole drills, jump training, and selected handling techniques.
Continues Beginner I with emphasis on contact equipment, weave poles, jumping, and four- to six-obstacle sequences. Develops handling strategies and understanding of front, blind, and rear crosses while reinforcing foundation skills.
For teams preparing for competition. Builds weave and contact proficiency in nine- to twelve-obstacle Novice-level sequences and progresses toward full Novice courses while maintaining contact, weave, and jump criteria.
For teams trialing, or training toward it. Follows the AKC titles.
For teams that have started competition. Uses varied sequence lengths and handling strategies while maintaining criteria for contacts, weaves, and jumps.
For teams competing at Open or higher. Focuses on course analysis, upper-level sequences such as pinwheels, serpentines, backsides, and discriminations, and breaking those sequences into trainable parts.
For teams training or competing at Excellent level. Focuses on course analysis, upper-level sequences such as pinwheels, serpentines, backsides, and discriminations, and breaking those sequences into trainable parts.
For teams working at AKC, USDAA, or UKI Masters level. Uses challenging courses, multiple handling options, best-line analysis, distance work, and international-style sequences.
Focused skills and advanced challenges. Taken alongside your regular class, not instead of it.
For advanced teams that want to dissect and analyze complex long and short sequences. Explores multiple handling options, develops new skills, strengthens weak areas, and includes AKC ISC and UKI Master Series-level challenges.
Fast-paced foundation training for experienced handlers with puppies headed toward competition. Covers handling concepts, age-appropriate jumping, lower-height contact introductions, and drills that build contact, weave, and jump skills.
Fast-paced competition-skill building for experienced handlers with young dogs. Covers all types of handling, age-appropriate jumping, contacts in sequence when appropriate, and drills maintaining contact, weave, and jump proficiency.
For teams sequencing at least 10, 12 obstacles and proficient with full-height obstacles and weave poles. Focuses on lines, best path, handler understanding, dog confidence and independence, and Masters-level challenges that can be broken down as needed.
Open to all levels and tailored to each team. Uses weave-pole drills, entries, and exits to improve speed and independence; dogs do not need to be proficient with weave poles.
