Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 7, 2026
The Princeton Dog Training Club (“PDTC,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you log in, register for classes, and manage your membership through our website, why we collect it, and who helps us process it. We keep the amount of information we collect to what we need to run the club.
1. Where you log in and the services we use
You create and access your member account by logging in through our website. PDTC uses third-party service providers to support its online registration system and process online payments. These providers receive and process information as necessary to deliver their respective services and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
2. Information we collect
PDTC may collect:
- Your contact details: name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
- Your dog’s information: name, breed, date of birth, sex, vaccination status, and answers to health and safety questions.
- Membership information; class registrations; attendance records; prerequisite and eligibility information; payment and transaction status; communications; and account activity.
We do not collect or store your payment card numbers. When you pay online, your card details are entered directly into our payment processor’s secure system; PDTC never sees or stores them.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to register you and your dog for classes, administer membership, apply the correct member or non-member pricing, communicate with you about your registration and the club, and keep classes safe (for example, by knowing a dog’s vaccination status or bite history).
4. How your information is shared
Personal information collected through the online registration system may be accessed by authorized PDTC officers, system administrators, Training Directors, registrars, and instructors when necessary to perform their Club responsibilities. PDTC also shares information with third-party service providers only as needed to provide their services. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. How your information is protected and kept
PDTC and its service providers maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. However, no electronic system or method of transmission is completely secure. PDTC retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer accounts, registrations, membership and training activities; maintain financial, legal, and safety records; and satisfy applicable legal obligations and Club record-retention requirements.
6. Your choices
You can view and update most account and dog information by logging into your account. Individuals may request correction or deletion of their personal information. PDTC may retain information when reasonably necessary to maintain financial, legal, safety, membership, or training records or to satisfy applicable legal obligations. For requests or privacy questions, contact princetondogtrainingclub@gmail.com.
7. Minors
Handlers under 17 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult throughout the PDTC activity, consistent with the Supervision of Handlers Under 17 policy.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or services change. The current version will always be available on our website, and the effective date will be noted at the top.
