Classes This Session
This fall we're running classes in three areas. Pick one to see the days, times, and how to sign up.
Agility
Sundays · Sep 13–Nov 1 · $190 per class
A progression from your dog's first exposure to the obstacles through pre-competition sequencing. New teams start with Intro to Agility. Classes are listed by time below.
Beginner I
Builds proficiency and independence on contact equipment, with two- to four-obstacle sequences, side changes, and weave-pole drills.
Beginner II
Contact equipment, weave poles, jumping, and four- to six-obstacle sequences; introduces front, blind, and rear crosses.
Pre-Novice
For teams finishing Beginner II: full-height jumps, complete weave-pole sequences, contact criteria, and course-reading fundamentals.
Intro to Agility
Flatwork, targets, impulse control, body awareness, tunnels, weave poles, and age-appropriate jump training. The focus is on training rather than handling technique.
Rally
Fridays · Sep 4–Oct 23 · $205 per class
Follow a numbered course of obedience stations at your own pace — a friendly, welcoming competition sport.
Rally Novice & Advanced
Teaches AKC Rally Novice and Advanced signs, rules, handling tips, and short courses.
Rally Excellent & Masters
Teaches AKC Rally Excellent and Masters signs, rules, handling tips, and short courses for higher-level teams.
Nose Work
Sundays · Sep 6–Oct 25 · $230 per class
Your dog uses its nose to find a target scent. Low-stress, and all ages and abilities are welcome.
Intro to Exteriors & Vehicles
Outdoor and vehicle searches — teams learn to search natural areas and around vehicles, applying scent theory in practical settings.
Intro to K9 Nose Work 2
Continues box work and adds environmental searches — chairs, desks, tables, cabinets, and high and low hides; introduces exterior and vehicle searches.
Show Handling
Not offered this session
Learn to present your dog in the conformation ring the way a judge expects — gaiting, stacking, ring procedure, and general dog-show protocol. Open to all dogs 3 months and up.
